Unbeaten featherweight Roberto Marroqin (19-0, 14 KOs) won an eight round unanimous decision over Gilberto Sanchez Leon (28-9-3, 10 KOs). Scores were 78-74, 77-75, 77-75.
In light heavyweight action, Notre Dame boxing champion Mike Lee scored a resounding first round TKO over Pablo Gomez to improve to 4-0 with 3 KOs. Gomez hurt Lee badly in the first, but a picture perfect right hook crushed Gomez and sent his mouthpiece flying across the ring. Gomez somehow made it back to his feet but ate another right hand that cut Gomez down and ended the fight at the 2:17 mark.
In an all action six round super lightweight bout, Anthony Lenk (10-1, 5 KOs) scored a TKO over Terry Buterbaugh (6-5-1) in the closing seconds of the fight. It was toe to toe action throughout the fight as Lenk dropped Buterbaugh in the 5th with a two shot combination. The Las Vegan would close the show in the final round after hurting Buterbaugh with a left hand and following him to the ropes with power shots until Tony Weeks stopped the fight at the 2:42 mark.
Highly touted super bantamweight Jesse Magdaleno improved to 3-0 with his 3rd knockout coming by way of 1st round TKO stoppage over Jaime Gutierrez (3-5). An accumulation of punishment forced Gutierrez to take a knee in the first and Magdaleno closed the show with a right to the body that dropped Gutierrez and Russell Mora stopped the fight at 2:12.
After six relatively uneventful rounds of heavyweight action, Andy Ruiz Jr. (9-0, 6 KOs) cruised to a unanimous decision victory over Alvaro Morales (5-9-5, 0 KOs). Scores were 60-54 and 59-55 (twice).
Light heavyweight Hiromitsu Miura (5-0, 3 KOs) made short work of Ramiro Bueno (1-2, 0 KOs) and scored a first round stoppage at the 2:20 mark.
