In this Week 16 of the NFL season for 2009, the Carolina Panthers are 3rd in the NFC South division with 6-8-0 standings. The New York Giants, on the other hand, is 3rd in the NFC East with an 8-6-0 record. However, in the Power Rankings, the Giants are on the 12th spot while the Panthers are in the 21st. But everything is not over for the Panthers as they defeated the Vikings and the Cardinal just recently.
