As Deidara's C4 Karura detonates,Sasuke perishes. Believing to have won, Deidara drops his guard, only to be pierced by Sasuke's Chidori. After being asked by Deidara how he had survived, Sasuke reveales that he was never harmed and that Deidara was under his genjutsu. Deidara tries to kill Sasuke, but is mislead by his Sharingan again. Both tired, they discuss about Sasuke's plan. Having the desire to see Sasuke afraid, Deidara uses a final kamikaze move, and detonates, demolishing everything engulfed in the blast.
